1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tbsp brown mustard
3 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp bourbon

3 tbsp dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground red pepper
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp liquid smoke

Blend all ingredients and simmer covered on low heat for at least 30 min. The longer the sauce it allowed to simmer, the more concentrated the flavors will become. Add the bourbon no more than 10 minutes before you plan to pull it from the heat.
