Pizza Dough

Pizza Dough Allrecipes

3 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 teaspoons (1 package) active dry yeast
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix in oil and warm water. Spread out on a large pizza pan. Top as desired.

Note: I substitute honey for the brown sugar periodically and use a mixture of whole-wheat flour with the all purpose flour too. This recipe yields two smaller pizzas when I use the baking stone in the bottom of my oven, a good thing since I can satisfy everyone’s topping preferences.
