Burrito Rice

1 cup long-grain white rice
1½ cups water
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon chicken base
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
1 tablespoon lime juice

Place the rice, water, chicken base, and butter into a medium-sized saucepan. Bring to a boil on high heat, then immediately cover and set heat low. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, then add the cilantro and lime juice. Stir to blend and fluff the mixture. Replace cover and allow to stand to 10 minutes off heat.
